Quinn Images Update – Summer 2011

Recently we moved to Scottsdale Arizona to be closer to the landscapes we love to explore and photograph. The best part about living in Phoenix is that you are a few hours drive from multiple National and State parks that offer an endless variety of photography opportunities.

Last weekend we made a trip west to Joshua Tree National Park. This park is unique in that it is the only National Park that includes both the Mojave desert as well as the Colorado desert, part of the larger Sonoran desert.

Martin and Cindy met in 1999 and soon realized they had many things in common. They both loved being out in nature and traveling to unique locations; they had both dappled in photography. As their photography skills improved they found that they could combine their love of nature and travel and preserve it with their photography.

Every spare moment you will find them either traveling to, or planning a trip, to another amazing place. They both believe that; “You can savor the memory of a place with photography and that leaving it as you found it, for future generations is THE most important thing a person can do”.

Martin is a native of Ohio, USA. He grew up hiking and camping various state and local parks around Ohio. Cindy was born in Canada but moved around most of her life as her father was in the military. She attributes her love of nature to her childhood when her weekends would be spent hiking the trails in the Canadian Rockies. Cindy and Martin are now married and have recently moved to Arizona from Ohio because they love the diversity of the state of Arizona and it’s proximity to amazing landscapes like Canyonlands, Arches, Death Valley and Bryce.

Both have had their images published in leading photography books, magazines as well as in various advertisements.
